During the summer months enjoy the sunshine and make protecting your skin from harmful UV rays a priority by wearing your sunscreen daily:
{1}A minimum of SPF15 is recommended even if you are indoors for the entire day. If you go outdoors for any length of time-even for only a few minutes-it is recommended that you wear higher than an SPF15 for adequate protection. Over exposure to the sun can cause sun damage which can accelerate the aging process adding to the formation of fine lines and wrinkles.
{2}I recommend wearing higher than SPF15 on your face all year round, especially in the summertime.Personally I wear a total of SPF50 plus daily on my face in every weather, all year round. I start with an SPF15 in my daytime moisturizer, then put a primer over my moisturizer with an SPF20 then I add my foundation with an SPF30. I always blend everything together well so that I end up with a gorgeous well protected finish.
{3}In the summer months, keep up your skincare routine especially in the hottest of weather. Hot and humid weather can cause circumstances that add to the clogging of pores. The best way to combat these effects is to keep doing your routine twice daily-once in the morning when you wake up and once at night before bed.
{4}Sunglasses and wide brimmed hats are great summer fashion accessories but they offer limited amounts of sun protection so remember to still wear your sunscreen, in addition to these fun seasonable items.
